Lahaina Complex After School Tutoring Program
The Lahaina Complex After School Tutoring
Program provides volunteer tutors at four public schools in Lahaina
helping over 240 students.
The results of these efforts are evident in the improvement
in the test scores for reading and math as well as their class
grades. The commitment
and dedication to Maui youth is outstanding in the team of
volunteers that support this program.

The Lahaina Complex After School Tutoring Program received grants from Beyond the Rainbow Foundation in 2006-2008 also.
The Maui Farm
The Maui Farm offers residential programs for
youth at risk, including an independent living program for foster
youth and former foster youth ages 17 to 21.
Services also include a family strengthening program that
serves homeless families in transition who are in need of community
support to achieve self-sufficiency.
The Maui Farm's `Ohana Model provides life skills training in
a healthy `ohana living and a farm-based experiential program of
farming, gardening and caring for animals., which helps to develop
self-esteem and confidence to deal with life challenges.
